I Trusted Him…

I was exactly ten when it happened. I was playing in my room with my toys when this guy came in. I knew him very well and as I went to greet him. He grabbed me, stuffed me into his trunk and drove off. I was chained up, beaten and raped for 3 days on end. Over and over. It was the most traumatic and horrible experience of my entire life. One night I heard men shouting: “we have guns!” I assumed he sent them to kill me. I crawled under the bed trying to hide. I was ordered out naked, I felt so helpless and humiliated. Then I saw ‘FBI’ on his jacket. I was so relieved I started crying. I was asked many questions afterwards. I still struggle with the consequences but thanks to amazingly supportive friends, I am starting to heal. Physically and mentally. Thank you to all my friends and family out there. I love you all so very much and wouldn’t trade you for the world.
